How much research did you do before finally planting?

I've actually done twice as much reading on equipment at this point than the actual gardening. Since I'm in my first grow I thought it was just as important (or more important even) to get the right equipment. I've done tons of reading on that stuff and my setup is coming together nicely I think.

My response likely to annoy some of the more seasoned growers here......

a seed fell out of the single joint I thought I would enjoy this year. It was mid May, and I pressed it int my flower pot on my deck, about an inch deep and promptly forgot about it (amazing how that happens when I smoke da ganja!).

2 weeks later, a friend points out to me that I have a wee weed plant next to my geraniums. I yank it and re pot it, she falls over, seemingly dead, and next am, she is straight and tall and healthy looking. She had a full summers worth of sunlight everyday.

knowing absolutely nothing, I feed her (who knew then that there even were he's and hers) plenty of miracle grow and yield myself a solid pound of smoke after I harvest 2 weeks ago a 7.5 foot tall plant with buds everywhere.

so, this site has helped massively. Great people and great learning to be found here.

my advice: outdoor growing is a snap. Indoors a PITA.

Good job man, I worked hard this year and that doesn't bother me at all +REP to you Smokingoat!. Be careful though Smokin goat next year you may not get as lucky and yield as much, It can be hit and miss sometimes my friend. Always plant 4 times as much as you think you will need, when guerrilla growing, or any growing for that matter.

I definitely learned by growing. For years I was paranoid about going to cannabis websites.
