Some strains can even throw out amber trichomes early, imo the best way is not to look for something, let your plant tell you....there's a certain point were you can tell the bud is done, it's not about red or orange, colored hairs, it's about them receding back into the calyx, they "swell" aka what your bud is made of

Still good to learn by the trichomes, for your first couple times so when you start seeing more and more amber, really start looking at the actual buds, instead of 1/2" hairs you'll see cm hairs, etc..

Nice buds bro. You know, growing time depends on conditions, genetics and other things. Try to check trichomes with loupe. I would say one or two week more it needs.

The sites are not always 100% accurate, thats a mere accurate deadline of when it should be done. My recent harvests were off date, i had my og kush finish in 7 weeks and it was supposed to go for 8 weeks total, my lemon haze went for 10.5 weeks and it was supposed to go for 9 weeks only...give or take a week.

With using a loupe right now the triches are just turning cloudy with some of the triches out farther on the fan leaves starting to turn a slight amber. But the triches closer in are still clear to cloudy.
