How much longer to veg... (pic)

I have a bit of a dilemma.... My plants are beginning to show preflowers now; I think I have 3 females out of the 8. I won't remove any of them till I am sure but I have been wondering if I should increase their veg time now that I will likely only have 3 under the light.
They are BBxNL/ 6.5 weeks old/ 7.5 - 13.5 inches tall. (They are just beginning to get some height on them right now... They suffered terrible abuse the first 3-4 weeks while I figured out how EC and pH stability were correlated.)
Maximum height is 4 3/4 feet to allow for the light + 12 inches. The light is 1K W switchable.
Okay so here's the dilemma... DH doesn't really want this strain (I don't partake)... We only chose BB because I read it was a hardy strain that could take a lot of abuse, i.e. easier to learn on. Most of this will likely be gifted to smoker friends at Christmas. We are growing either Mandala Satori or Mandala #1 next. Is there any benefit in continuing to veg these longer? I mean, we intend to flower these out but will I get more needed experience allowing these to get larger? Experience that will help me with Sativa dominant strains??
I want to start the other seeds in order to get mothers and clone for the next run but I don't want to miss an opportunity to learn something here if I can. What would you do?
Here are the plants today:

Id veg them for longer and make the most of it because it looks like you have the room for them to get bigger.

I appreciate the input, Blaze. We do have the room but unless there is something to be learned from the bigger plants that will help me in the next grow I really don't want to waste the veg light on them. He (dh) likes a cerebral buzz (I like him better when he's got a cerebral buzz, lol) so if they have nothing else to offer other than general flowering stuff I wanna flip 'em in 2 weeks and get the Mandalas started.

Nothing other than greater yield?

In your situation you may aswell flip them because it wont really be of any other benefit to you other than yield if you veg them for longer.

Just wanted to make sure I wouldn't be missing out a learning opportunity. Thanks again for the info. :peace:
