how much longer should I veg?

I have two plants one is Photoperiod one is autoflowering. Im wondering (even though I KNOW im no where close to done) how much longer I should veg before fliping from 24/0 to 12/12.
Here is what iv got growing



I want to get a decent amount of bud but i dont want to wait "too" long. Maybe 5 weeks? the bb is 18 days old, or 2 weeks and 4 days.

I veg till at least 20-24 inch's but it really depends on how much room you have for growth. Your plant could double or triple in size during flowering.

I'd veg until my photoperiod plants preflower minimum. Anything beyond that is your choice man.

Well im sure there is no exact time period that all your palnts do that but, kinda estimated, how long would that take?

Well usually they start to preflower somewhere between their 8th and 12th node, so 2-4
weeks after sprouting depending on veg speed, clones usually already have preflowers by the time they're cut.

When branches go from opposite to alternate. If growing from seed it's a more reliable method of recognising maturity. Why does this never get mentioned?

Mine is growing from seed, its about 3 weeks old and abot 6 inches tall
