So i started these about a month and 10 days ago, 12/12 from seed. They vegged themselves for like 3-4 weeks and then showed their sex. I have 6 under a 250watt HPS. The strains are from a friend and arent really known much about. I was just wondering how long till harvest given their state. I havent smoked in a long while so im itching too. When will they start forming buds too? They are about 3 feet tall and have slowed growing in hieght alot

so what do you think? a month or 1.5 months? i hope not 2 months.

I know these arent sativas but they arent pure indica i believe.

hmmm....its tough to say...my set up uses 1000w (if you could get that going i would) if it was my system, i would say maybe 2-3 more weeks....i think in your case it might be longer

yea, i wish i had a 1000 watt lol, the reason i havent gone bigger is cause my walls are made of cement and dont have enough room between them to exhaust and intake from them. So after this harvest im gonna sell a bit and get a big tent and inteak eand exhaust and a 1000 watt light.

Also is it normal for the top leaves near the main cola to get skinny like that?

ahhh...yes spatial challenges change the equipment u can use shiny leaves huh?? i can't see it on the picture...i don't remember that happening to any of my plants, but i don't ever remember shiny leaves as a plant problem...check the "plant problem" section...i dont think that would concern me though

no they are skinny, notice in the group shot how they are normal broad pot leafs lower but then up near the top they are skinny leaves. Maybe it means the buds are coming and they are gonna fill it in.

to me it looks like they just started

id say six weeks depending on the strain.

oh ya man...that is totally normal...im still pretty new to growing hydro , i'm pretty sure those are the fan leaves

yea they kinda did just start, i should have put my finger next to it. ill do that now.

yeah you still have a long way to go, those look like maybe 2 weeks into "flower"

even though you started them on a 12/12 light cycle, they still need to be "sexually mature" to flower. So they grow until they are sexually mature enough to flower.. once they show signs of sex, that is when you start your countdown.
