what are you asking?

Been done before... Most would say a 1.4k to 2.4K would be better especially for flowering.

I wanted to veg them under 600 maybe thirty plans then thro them under 4k light for budding

4000 watts in a 9x9 room? You must have killer ventilation and cooling. You should consider a vertical setting where you circle the light with plants. Just a thought.

If the plants aren't vegged to make real big plants - 4k may be overkill. I use 4k in a 25x7 space...

Second time someone told me that never done that you don't think hanging them would be just as good and yes I was going to run an ac and co2 I was going to seal the room thinking about using 12 inch inline fan for the hoids and a charcoal filter what you think and any idea on wiring or electrical controls I might need to make sure I dont burn down my house

How would u pull 5pounds off a nine by nine room then

I run 2000 watts in a upstairs bedroom with a window unit. I bought 20" box fans, put 600w in cool tubes hung them up and nudge the plants right up next to the fan. They bud fantastically

The space is actually bigger than that as ⅓ of the room is expaned in the middle by 18 square feet.

Right now under vegging they are running 1200 watts / 3 - 400 watt MH. They are growing slow but steady now - Waiting for cooler weather to start at the beginning Oct. so there isn't any need to use AC. So no rush getting the plants big at a fast rate - this grow was started from clones on the 1st. of March. Then 20 started from seed at beginning of April.


When they go into flowering They get 3k MH for the first 3 weeks of flowering. Then switch to 3k hps and 1k MH added in until harvest.

Final lights - 1k centered near each end and 2k in the middle.
