so you have 2 400s and are getting another and calling it a micro sog you could fit a shitload of plants under that. if you used 6' pots wow thats like 27 plants or somthin like that, micro sogyeah it does seem like alot to me too.. but untell i see negetive effects from my plants( not yet thank god) im running it... and i still have 1 more 400watt thats going in there...im trying a micro SOG so i want small plants with only a 1 nice cola on it....

all that extra light is useless why wouldnt you just grow more in a 3x6 room. it really bugs me, its just a waste you will get no benafit from it and it may cause problems and it will actually impead your grow with all the heat and eccess light its just not right 400 w in a 3x3 is all you need and your goin 8oo in a 2x2 thats just not what i would consider intelagent dicission makeing good luck with your 2x2 closet full of stupid. your gonna get like .0001 gram per wattlmao no got 2 400watts,24 plants,ebb&flow,2x2x4 cab

...well i seen no problems with the babys so far...just growing real nice and fast...HEAT???? ha.. heats not a problem. maybe for you..my cab stays about 65f/78f..i guess im not that "stupid" after all..let us ponder on this for a min....i want to grow a nice size cola on each plant..with lil branching..im trying to make sure i get light all the way down the stem, small clones go in to flowering,with LOTS AND LOTS OF LIGHT
....i have co2 set up for once a hour....yeah i could use a 3x3 or bigger.. but right now i have no problems with my set up so way change it???

the sun on a clear day in direct sunlite no clouds is like 10- 16000lumens psf so id belive 270% brighter than anywhere on earth
Yes these bulbs are great. My plants showed zero stretching when I turned them over to flower. $220 is alot to pay. And it's all mark-up. I've seen the distributor's price and Hortilux sells them to your growshop for about $120. It's the man behind the counter selling them at $220. I got mine for $150 a piece.Still expensive but way more reasonable. As far as the bulb goes it's awesome.This bulb gives off two different colors of light, red & blue. It's rated at over 110,000 lumes. Best of all, it works with any hood and HPS ballast.Is anyone using those dual arc hortilux bulbs??
Man $220 is a lot, but fuck it, I think Im gonna have to get some of those next time I switch bulbs.
