My buddy decided to turn full hippy and is moving to the wilderness so his stuffs up for grabs..he has a 1000 watt 8'' ductFAN and cooltube how much should i offer him for all of it

I would take retail minus 30%....but if he is truly motivated shoot low and you might get a deal

too many variable to just shoot a figure, what type of ballast, what type of bullb, how old are both of them?

I think 300$ would be a pretty good deal as long as your getting a air cooled hood and a good fan along with the 1000 watt light. You might have to get a new bulb too and that's gonna run you at least another 40$. I'd start at 200$ and see what he says.

it come with the ballast ...Im sure everthing is old cause hes been using this setup for years......so 300 guys for everthing

i wouldn't pay 3 unless it was a digital ballast. A good bulb is going to run ya closer to 85 bucks

I would offer 175 if I needed a bulb. I see them go on ebay for 150 all day long.

i meant i would take the retail price say $1000 and subtract 30%....so if it cost $1000 new a fair resale price would be $700...
