I've heard all prices and I think it sould be as cheap as possible cause a gro person nds to pay for their grow-I understand.BUT,I think no more than $250.00 is fair for the "elite" shit like the OG Kushes and the Chemdawgs, then $200.00 is fair for the dynamite more common Skunk hybrids that are around. They are dynamite too ! Real gd weed-oooppss!! medicine.! I tried one, friends have told me and I try to keep a finger on the pulse of pricing.Now,2yrs ago,I did see a price of $550.00 for topshelf OG Kush!!! I DIDN'T pay it! ! I read in "hightimes Mag" thats BOSTON price BC.(Before Whitey was Caught:)) Check this out: All these wanna-be future "dispensary owners" ,how are they figuring their market analysis before they predict how much $$ they will make in the future of opening their store IF WE can't settle on a price -then how the f--- are they gonna predict the yr. of business.

I think its a waste to get opinions on prices cause yes everyone sees high prices BUT everyone wants 100-200 oz.Watch out cause the next person might be the $50OZ guy and start Ranting on CL again...lol

I want know whats happening price wise. Mainly cause I know the cost for a series start up. there is plenty of money to be ad at.250 a o , so if possible get the prices down enough. so everyone is happy growers and smokers then when dispensation open they will have to bring their prices down also. we need to get this straight very soon

If the powers that be would only STOP stumbling over their own greed and get on with the business end of this, we could be the ones getting in on the ground level of a business that is ready to explode on the local scene. These greedy bastards are ready to do whatever stupid thing they can to try and be the only "dispensary" in R.I. Like that is the only "holy grail" of this business!! There are $$million$$ to be made in this business. No imagination is your only limitation. I watched a show called "Marijuana U.S.A." about an inventive couple in Colorado with the brains & balls to get in on the ground floor of the "new" marijuana business in this country. Our state is losing $$ everyday that they waste NOT making these JOBS availabe to us. Shit! At least give us the choice and legalise it ! ! !

... it would be nice just to grow your own meds and not worrying about the feds coming in and busting down the door.

There are several caregivers that have only the patients welfare in mind, I can say from personal experience, that Tamorin is one of those people. If you are looking for a caregiver that won't rape you for meds. it should be easy to fiqure out who are the compassionate people out there who really care about patients needs before making money. I am not saying that caregivers should not be fairly compensated for there grows, all I am saying is there has to be a limit on what is fair to both parties. Discussion on price is a good place to start. Lets have a constuctive discussion on prices, I think anywhere up to two hundred an oz is more than fair for good quality meds. Any comments pro or con?

Growing is a skilled trade so I think people should be able to figure in their time at what a skilled tradesman charges. I've heard people spreading the false notion (on the internet and at RIPAC meetings) that a caregivers can't charge for time. Not true. Charity is up to the person who's giving it not for everyone in the community to shame people into it. If someone is willing to pay $250, still less then street price, for consistant meds not the run around what's wrong with that. I would gladly pay more if my caregiver had meds all the time not the here and there you get for "cheap" meds.

Time + Total Expenses = Cost of meds

Tamorin is doing it right and glad to see it.200-300 seems to be fair .But i haven't seen any $200oz besides Tamorins patients donation request.I feel 200-300 is fair and the normal i see/hear is 250-350.

I've been smoking for 14 years never really grew. When I hot my cardah I search for someone to teach me , found the person, learned what I needed to know and found out the truth. The whole time I've been paying people 350-450 for bomb Meds I've been getting ripe off. I've been in houses with out electricity to purchase and I've been in half a million dollar homes to purchase. Either way I've paid too much. I see myself as a patriot literally. I got alp these economic factors to be afraid of, the federal government, alcohol and cigarette companies, and of course the pharmecudical companies. They all aNy us shut down. So I say to myself what is a kid from silverlake gonna do. Well I decided to help people. Ive been influenced by Ben Franklin, Leonard Device Genghis Khan and Robin Hood. So the only true hobby I had prior to this was video games and boating. Well both were paid off so . Next thing I know I'm sinking in almost 5 grand into equipment contemplating how to pull one plant out at a time to stay legal. Hydro is fast and produces huge buds with co2. Remember if u have extra Meds just talk.someone in to holding on to them for u, f keeping them at the grow spot. In closing t

The reality is I understand the prices when u don't have the investment money. But if u can afford it and have the space to do things right. I have no reason not to give.back to my fellow man or women. I had a long time to think about it and I got to.say every time I see one of u guys smile, I know I made a difference in our own little world. Maybe with a bit of luck others will emerge like me over time. We are a small state but I like to think we have the biggest heart. R.I.P. Slater u changed my life for the better.

I think the thread has the prices pretty much right on. $2-250 is fair for what street thugs ask 400 for. There are those a bit more compassionate but remember, you spend a lot of time and money producing the stuff so don't shoot yourself in the foot but there's definitely a need to eliminate the street prices around here, it's ridiculous and if you're a caregiver charging that you should have your card revoked. You're in it for the wrong reasons and are a big part of the stigma associated with the program IMO
