I run a 600 w hps 12/12 & a 400 w on 24hrs.
Including TVs, XBOX, water heater, Central AC on 75, fans mother room CFLs
& my electric bill this month was $75 in total.
Which is maybe a $10 jump. I turn off all lights when leaving room and use everything else on a minimum

hey

just wondering how much peeps are paying?

im on a meter so it will be interesting to find out soon as i have just turned my light on.

thinkin of gettin a digital ballast too...are these worth it? they are supposed to be cheaper to run.
I pay 17p a kilowatt hour on a pre-payment meter and my 600watt is 0.6kw so that should be (17 x 0.6) 12 = £1.22p a day or £8.54 a week.

Id have to double check this but either way United suck, wana support a real team like the Gunners!

If mines under 1000 a month I'm happy. .16 per kilowatt here in mi killing us. And enjoying this cold weather. Don't have to run the ac or dehumidifiers winter saves me easy 400 a month.

Watts x hours of use = X

X/1000= X

X x 30 = X

X x Whatever you pay per Kw usually .10-.12 cents

Let's do so X x .10 = cost per month.

I'm paying about 18 dollar a month for all my equipment. Should be even less since I'm running solar.

It doesn't matter because full spectrum LED's are much cheaper to run ,i use a couple of panel LEDs as mains & have much smaller LED's as supplemental lighting and they encourage excessively high thc levels. I use a small stainless steel cannister with regulator to create co2 at a very cheap price. Look around before investing in HID's.

Bollocks good leds are good but i wouldnt say its guaranteed to boost thc content thats a combo of genetics skill light and a great environment and holding back on the water a tad at the right points of a plants life cycle i still use hids some of us still need the heat as well with leds id need to supplement heat so its pointless also reversals can be more tricky under leds vs the hps lights theres no perfect light for every situation they all got there pros and cons
