How much did you spend

Bud trimmers in Oregon make up to $15 a hour.. To do something you love doing... Fuck yeah I'll take it
one thing that kills trimming professionally at least to me anyway is even if your in a really clean work environment trimming and you drop a bud on the ground no matter how quick you pick it up guess where it goes? in the trash. no joke.
southern Oregon is having lots of legal battles, gosh the state wants to mess with the big medical growers down there,, I hope it all works out,,
I have alot of family that lives in central Oregon ,, in Bend ,,, it rains Less there than so Cal,,, lol,, I guess I should have pointed out that Oregon has differant climates depending on the region,, sorry I left that out,, I usually reserve that line for my old Calif friends,,,
yeah but it's not just southern oregon that's having problems it's all of oregon OHA just caused a big fuss over BHO's and extracts making it illegal for dispensaries trying to sell from getting more unless it's bought through a license dealer. pretty much it's greed. at the end of the day the fat cat politicians want they're money.

Appreciate the feedback, do dispensaries out there do working interviews?

I've seen hemp staff come through where I'm at a couple times. Still on the fence about paying 250 for dispensary training.
i'm not 100% sure if they do or not but i can say that most positions in a dispensary start at 15-20 a hour so your 250 would get repaid quick if you did spend it.

Just when i thought double ended lamps were it for awhile along comes COB lighting. This technology for us growers is way faster than i can keep up. I got this though. COB here i come. If the numbers are legit and iam sure they are its just logical and inevitable that every damn growroom on the planet will eventually go this way. Less electric bill for greater yields? Sign me the f#### up!!! This is the motivator. To hell with initial price.....thats bound to come down anyways. Not to mention COB spectrum output increases quality? I heard COB led increases total cannbinoid content compared the same under HID lighting.

It tool awhile for LED. I remember when the first ones came out. Expensive and they DID NOT live up to marketing hype. I didnt fall for it but several grower friends did. And to this day it left a bitter taste for LED. Through the web and magazines and talking with people i been in the back ground over the years paying a little attention to how they kept getting better and more efficient with each passing year. I think the time is now. Finally. I knew in the back of my mind that LED technology will eventually nail it. Just a matter of time.

i am running 208 watts using 4 cobs, I used to grow with 400 watt metal halid bulb,, and the cobs are not fully matching the 400 watter,, but they are not far behind, but what is very differant is the heat, from what i have seen so far, if I ran 300 watts of cree cobs it will pass what I used to grow under 400,,
but its not so much growing the same amount for less per say,, but not having to buy bulbs, having a safer system,, with no ballasts, and a few other things

oh yes,, completely,, even I bought a mars 300 panel, ,, but funny thing I learned fast after that,, read so much, got involved in the threads here, and before I could even grow a crop under the mars,, i ditched it, and built my first cobs,, now my mars is in the barn colecting dust

now there are a few guys selling legit cob panels here in the ad section of riu,, but they do cost,, and i recomend a person grow with hid or metal halide if they dont have much money,, lol, and most of us smokers are in that section,,,
but for my stealth cab, and it had to be ulltra stealth,, the cobs gave me more room to be quiet,, to be silent,

Start recommending 315W CMH to people who aren't ready for COB LED.

My 225W modules are basically equivalent to one 315W CMH lamp.

how many grows is a cmh lamp good for before it needs to be replaced,,, ? I know a guy who is replacing it every grow, and the bulb costs is ??
i guess its like making payments on a credit card,, or paying it off?,, everyone is in a differant boat

I have my reasons for getting on board the COB train. I'm proving them out now.

So its safe to say about half the wattage of cobs equals maybe slightly less equivalent in final weight dried trimmed cured of hps whether open reflector single ended or even double ended? But less heat...less ac....even less electric bill?

I subscribed to Monstergardens youtube channel. They broke it down on ceramic halides. I think they said the 315's had a smaller footprint or suugested it compared to what growers wanted to run them at but they kicked ass and were really nice combined with hps lamps. Correct me if iam wrong and iam getting very excited. Tty....you seem to be the man here at riu with cmh and cobs. And soon iam fixin to pick yer brain my homie...that is if you dont mind my questions.
