how much cfl lighting do i need help!

hello i have a 3x3x6 grow closet and i was wondering how many watts of cfl lighting should i have. and by the way i am going to try to stuff 6 blueberry plants in there.
any ways i was thinking one 250watt cfl bulb and one 55 watt cfl and like 3 of the 26watt cfls do you guys think this is enough light for what i want to do?

plz let me know how many watts i should have i want a good yield thanks

Good luck on the 6 plants man.
Not trying to be a dick, but I have a 2x2, and my 1 plant fills it.
I vegged under 98w of CFL's, and just recently (in flower) added another 200w.jan14pic16_zps8cf56612.jpg

yeah i am going to try to push it to 4 plants man but does any one know how many cfl watts i should use for my 3x3x6 grow room

My box is 5'x 3'x 7' and when i was doing cfls I had 2000 equivalent watts on 12 girls no problem. I would pull about 12-14oz off a grow. Check out my early grow forums. Since now I run a 600. But I would never talk shit on cfls. You can grow very nice buds with those I know I've done it. Not trying to be cocky. It's the truth.

Here's a bud, growing under 800 true watts of CFL... it's one of 6. This is 30 days from first hair, and 55 days from breaking soil. Please note the severe nute deficiencies (PK deficient. Fixed it by moving to 3gal pots and new grow medium+new nutes.) day_30_flowering.jpgday_30_flowering1.jpg

You'd be better off getting an hps but if cfls are what you have to use.....i'd say atleast 800 true watts of cfl, which will be about 37 23 watt cfls to get that much, more is better in the cfl world

I have 2 light bars that I made, each has 8 CFL bulbs (3 6500k 23w, 1 6500k 65w, 3 2700k 23w, 1 2700k 65w) In addition I use T8s on both the sides (an additonal 80 watts each, one 2700k 40w and 1 6500k 40w.) There are 6 flowering right now, 4 indicas and 2 sativas. In addition, there are 6 seedlings, and 1 of those started showing hairs. My wattage (currently) is a bit lower than the 800 I was running. The secret to CFL is to get them very close to the plants (within 6 inches.)

With your blueberries if you LST You'll be fine with around 600w, mix up the spectrum for optimal grown. Make sure that you keep them close to the canopy, and SIDE LIGHTING is key!

Good luck, I was going to include this information in my first post, but I was tired, stoned, and heading to bed.

You'll need about 500 actual watts for that sized area. That's about 18 of those standard 26W, and they need to be hung at different heights...not placed into a fixture. I use 42W bulbs to lessen the amount needed. CFL's do not penetrate very far, so compensation must be created via side lighting.

Good luck!
