How much ceiling height?

So I'm in the early stages of this grow (3 pineapple chunks, and a couple of auto kush, but I'm already thinking of my next one. Currently running a 600w hps w/ 2 300w (about 150ish actual)leds in a 72" tent, for my next run I was planning on doing some haze plants for the first time, my ? Is should I just bite the bullet and get a taller tent(with the lights I'm down to about 5' max clearance, or would an 80" be roughly the same boat?

I already tend to have to do some bending, but I hear those damn haze genes make for some stretchy gals.

Look up the following techniques:

Topping, fim'ing ("fuck, i missed" is what it stands for), LST, SOG, SCOG and a few others. All are various ways to control the size, height and shape of your plants. With proper training (those techniques) any plant can be grown in almost any size space.

I've been using these techniques, especially lst on the autos I've done, and I usually top my pineapples twice and spread em out pretty wide for canopy coverage, just haven't tried any haze yet so I didn't know if they responded well to it or not, I'm doing a samsara seeds holy grail 69 right now and she didn't seem to enjoy her pinch as much as the pineapples do, they took off, she kinda slowed a bit at first

Probably will do this for sure, just got in the habit of veggin for a 2 month auto grow then switching the photos, for the haze run I'll probably just skip the autos or run em in a seperate room

You can veg the hell out of just about any strain and keep it low and wide in a big pot. With topping...training...and tying down. Nothing that 6 or more feet from floor to ceiling cant handle. Just depends on how much work you want to put in....your strain...your setup...and how many you plan to grow. I know one thing....them long veg big pot low wide bushy bitches give up massive buds.
