I am trying to grow indoors in Boston MA , my goal is to harvest at least 2 lbs every harvest , what is the maximum I can grow indoors without having to worry about authorities knocking on my door ?
How much can I grow indoors without getting caught?

The minimum is zero. Growing one plant in a PC case poses a nonzero risk of a bust.

Keeping secrets is only part of it. Some grows were busted through just plain random lousy luck. Every grower needs to own up to that possibility. Jmo. cn

@mass rasta. this is a question you should be asking yourself. we are all our own worst enemy. just dont be bragging to people you dont know and tryin to be a hotshot showoff and you should be able to have whatever size you want/can afford.

Good point. At least with a house, you can always blame a huge power usage spike on the 'new hot tub' you just got.
If you are anywhere but your own house, you always have the risk of the smell also.

I am living in a three bedroom apartment and I am using the closet in my master bedroom which is about 3ft by 10ft , I plan to use 600 w hps for every 4 plants hoping that I yield at least 4 ounces a plant , how much do you think my electric bill would be every month , this is my first grow in this apartment without Cfls

U got some work to do boss.fans filthers ect. I would start off with 10 15 ladies 2 600cool tubes. 5gal pots. Vegas for 4weeks train them pull out ur trilliertrilliswatch the show

it depends on how many lights your running but probally 20-30 bucks a month for 1 600w light and fans running 12 hrs maybe more but as long as you pay your light bill on time it really don't matter plus growing weed in mass is only a misdermeanor so I dout the cops are looking too hard for grows. just don't go telling people and make sure you have no light leaks and smell coming from your grow.

How much u think the monthly electricity bill would be running the 2 lights ?

two lights should be under $60 a month with every thing running I'm not sure how much they charge for killowatt hour but 1 kw hour is 1,000 watts running for 1 hour so depending how much wattage your using for fans plus the 2 lights add that up should be less then 2 kw hours 2 x 12 24 kw hours a day times by 30 then you got your kw hours for the month and you times that by your price per kwh and you got your answer.

I think 2 x600 watts would be fine..wouldnt effect your bill much. A pound per light using 600s is pretty ambitious though. If youre experienced with scrogging or something might be feasible if youre using a high yielding strain. If youre growing in an apartment its obviously a good idea to be aggressive with odor control..dont skimp on a good carbon filter

god damn $80 bucks how much do you get charged per kwh? mine is $00.1488 cents and 1 kwh running 12 hours a day for 30 days is $53.56 I can't imagine much more than 1kw for a 600w room but ya two 600w lights should be more than $60 but it should be under 2 kwh my exhuast fan is 170 watt for my 2 600's not too sure about the circulting fan but it should be less then the exhuast fan so I'm just over 1.5 kw running 2 600's.

I've never tried any sour diesel seeds you"ll get a response in the seed and strains section. but in mass it really don't matter as long as its dank I don't live far from mass and half that shit they call sour diesel, purple haze and kush aint even half the time your getting premature hydro. so if its your first time growing I would get something cheap with good quality my favorite place for seeds in the mr. nice auction mr. nice is one of the top breeders and you get his seeds over half off the price of attitude and shit when you add shipping and guarenteed delivery as they have all that in the auction price and I haven't got less then 20 seeds per pack from the auction. http://www.mrnice.nl/auctions/index.php
