How much air flow?

Hey guys,
I've got three plants growing in a room there all about a week old. The room is about 4 feet by 15 feet and its only being used to grow the three plants. I have heard that using a fan will help strengthen my seedlings stems. How much air should be hitting the plants? The fan I have does not oscillate so how do I know if I have too much of a breeze? The fan has two settings on high the plants just kinda shake a little bit but on low they do not move at all. Which setting would be better? Thanks, Blazey:leaf:

yeah, and remember airflow is important because I turned my small fan off when I only had one flowering plant finishing and it got bud rot in center cola. I will always be leaving fans on from now on

Yep, you probably don't need much. If your canopy is very dense, however, more air movement is necessary in order to combat the possibility of infections.

ok sounds good thanks guys. Also another question. Is there a place online that I can buy nutes from? I've looked around at LOWE's and Walmart and havent found any of the nutes ive seen listed on this board.

Hey thanks a lot Cheech Wizard + rep for you. Do any of you guys recommend a certain type of fertilizer? Is it worth using it on this run? Right now I'm growing 3 bag seed plants under a 4 foot shop light with 2 of those ecolux grow bulbs. Used a mix of potting soil and vermiculite and right now there about 4 inches tall and looking good. I'm doing an 18/6 lighting cycle and feeding about a cup of water a day. The water has sat in a jug for atleast 24 hours to remove chlorine. And also only watering when the soil is dry a bit down into the soil which has happened to be almost everyday. So again do you think its worth doing it on this run? I was thinking if this run is a success then great ill go buy some nice seeds.

See not I've heard that's not necessarily true. You should water every time the soil is dry a few inches down. With the amount im watering the soil is dry almost every morning and my plants have showed no signs of drooping or over watering at all. There still small so their only in 6 inch pots.

Well, for my first time I bought Fox Farm 3 pack of nutes, and my friends did their first grow at this time alsoa nd did not use any nutes.. I got wayyyyyyyyyyy more of a yield than they did. I dont know if its because I used nutes but I know it didnt hurt. And, i only used 1/4 strength.. I yielded way more than them off the same white widow clones. And, those were the smallest of my plants, my sensi stars were all between 1.5 and 2.5 oz. My widows were like 1.5 oz while their same widow clones were like 3/4 oz. So, it couldnt hurt and its only like 30 bucks for the 3 pack so for that ammount of money I think its worth it to potentially get way more bud. Good Luck!

No problem! And dont think that because this is your first attempt you should not give it your all, you will be surprised by how easy it is to grow some dank dank herb.
