how many watts

if a person where to make a grow box that was 42" wide X 32" deep X 60" tall would one 600 watt hps light be enough to do 3 plants, i know this may sound stupid but this person has never grew anything inside only outdoor. also for ventilation how much air it intake?? and if the 600 watter was not enough could cfl's be placed on the side of the plant to promote side growth..

ya...the 600 will work out just fine for you i believe...esp. in a grow box where you can actually use every last bit of light, rather then let any escape...depending on how you are venting and if heat isnt an issue...i would throw some side lighting in there as well...it wont hurt...again just make sure your temps are under control, either way the 6 will be enough...but the more light, the denser the bud is...usually.
