How many times can a plant be cloned?

I was wondering what the consensus was on how many times a plant can be cloned. I have some white widow's and white lightning's I want to keep around but no males left to knock them up. Some people say only a few times while others say you can do it perpetually with no loss of vigor/potency or yield. What does everyone think?:?:

I have managed 6 times running before I decided to change what I was producing. I really do not think there is much of a limit.

I have really never cloned more than 3x. Only because I am a strain hunter. I say find a friend and have him smoke test every harvest. And see what he says. I have a good tester !

Good question-To echo the above it really comes down to personal choice. If the clones are producing healthy, consistant results, then keep going. If you start getting mutants, hermies or decreasing yields then you have hit the limit. I have personally run some strains 3 years before starting fresh, and had great results. Also have some that are extinct, and only exist as clones now.

I might order some more beans it was just so stressful the first time around I want to avoid it if I can. In a year when I move out I'll be able to have them shipped to my ma's house and since nothing will be growing there at that time it should be fine I just really need em to keep going for a year. I ordered from marijuana-seeds.nl and still have the afghan, blueberry, northern lights, super silver haze, and g13 haze strains from them so I'd still have some genetics to play with if I lost the ww and wl. But their some pretty bad ass strains I could always breed em with another strain and then try to cross it back with the clones until I get a mostly ww or wl hybrid I guess. Thanks for chiming in dudes.
