How many strains do you need ????

With the hundreds of different strains and names they keep coming up with is it really necessary to try them all ? Is one 80/20 cross the same as another with a different name but using the same plants to cross it with ?

Are there just a basic couple plants that would pretty much cover all the bases and different highs you can experience or do you really need to try 200 different plants ?

what gets me with ordering seeds etc is how do you know for sure that you are getting what youi payed for i mean they could just have a few 1000 seeds and sell them all under different names half the people buying them wouldnt notice the difference .

that's why you buy from a reputable breeder who can tell you the lineage...

i think he means that with all the strains created they had to of started from somewhere
he's askin if he gets base strains if he could cover all kinds of highs
personally i think u may have to try at least 80% of all highs with zero tolerance each time to achieve different highs each time

Exactly what you said, should I just grow Skunk #1, a Haze, An Indica and a Sativa and have the bases covered or do I have to change my grow every year to the newest stuff because there is that much of an improvement ?

I'd rather stick to something like AK47 that has been around for over 10 years and is still popular.

-afghan #1 one of the original indicas
-arjan haze best weed ever created super strong pretty sure it's completely satvia
-blueberry cuz u gotta have sumthin fruity! mostly indica but with great clearheaded high
-ak47 just because of how good it is
-white widow cuz everyone has to have white widow lol
-purple haze, cuz it's rare and it's purple!

that's it that shuld umbrella term most highs leaning on everyside of the spectrum but will not feel like every hybrid ever made great list tho i grew them all harvest and mized them all into the same blunt

Bubblegum - Legendary
White Widow - Legendary
AK48 - cheap and legendary ?? might as well
DoubleGum - cheap and wonderful ?? might as well

Everyone keeps comparing it to collecting baseball cards. There is just something about it. I doubt anyone is really growing them or if they are just a plant or two. I've talked to a lot of people on here and none of them deal, dude, most don't even grow.

You don't have to be dealing to love . Unless your in Cali, the access to exotic strains is rare for well just about everyone else I would assume, that hasn't delved themselves already deeper into acquiring quality genetics, so many (me) like to stock up while there is opportunity. And did I also mention that I love . By the way when you say strains hangin around you do mean having beans stored up, because I wouldn't think that having many strains justifies credentials of being a dealer, actually I would assume the complete opposite. Dealers usually want high yielders, short flowering time, etc... (and I'm assuming) so they would probably want a select limit of seeds that fit that category to allow them to maximize the profits. Me I just love and like baskin robins, I want to try all 36....umm.... 1000's of flava's.

and 4 the gy who said skunk #1 is a mediocre high, did u grow it urself or buy it? cuz someone could of fucked it up skunk is the base strain 4 many other great ones
