ive got a 5x5, also with a 600w hps and I have 4 plants - 2 cheese and 2 kandy kush - and I think at a push I could squeeze 1 more plant in.
Depends on strains I guess

I'd do 4 plants in 5 gl buckets and veg for 7 weeks. If you do it right you should get around 3 zips per plant.

I also have a 4X4 tent used for vegging and flowering. I use a 600W HPS and sometimes switch it to 1000W. I put in 19 2gal. fabric grow bags during each grow. I also have a oscillating fan on deck and a inline fan connected through my reflective hood. Gets a bit crowded, but I like to see how far I can push it with different strains. The Kush, Afghanis and Hybrids seem to do the best in close quarters. I also use my 2½x2½ tent, 400W conversion bulb if not vegging , also using 9 2gal. fabric grow bags.

So far in either tent, I've been able to get about an ounce a plant. But I think once I learn proper pruning techniques, I should get a little more. Remember, I use 2gal. grow bags.

One plant per 600 watter produces 500-600 grams in a perpetual grow relatively easily. Why does everyone think more is better? One square foot of floor space will only produce x amount no matter how many you stuff in there. Two would be the most. Way less work and trouble. Good Luck

:( That's really bad...

I would do one plant in a five gal, veg for four weeks, and pull 20 zips.

That's just me though.
