How many plants/lights!?

Think I’ve got an idea on my set up... I’m setting up a 6x4.5x5 airtight grow space with intake/exhaust fans with carb filter and one rotating fan. How many plants should I put in there and how much light should i aim for. I want to use hps bulbs I’m thinking 2 hps @400w? Of course i want to max my yield just don’t know if I should just to 6-9 plants or could I do more? Help with # of plants in that space will help me determine lights I guess.

For HPS in that space I'd personally be at 1Kw.
As for plant count/density it depends on what you're growing, how long you're vegging etc

I want to harvest every 3 months and I’m growing Bubble Bud, Pineapple Chunk, and White Widow think I could squeeze 8?

I read your space as 4.5*5 but reread and think its 6*4. If its 6*4 then I'd say 2off 600w.

If you are going from seed you won't get long in veg to get it in 3 months.
I've run 1 plants per square foot (clones and from seed) when veg time is short.

Dont trust seed suppliers times for flowering, they've always gone at least 10 days longer and at times up to a month longer.

As youre new id say have a look at some grow journals to get an idea of what would suit your situation and space

Thanks, the space is in an awkward location so it’s 6w x 4.5 L x 5H.

Adjustable in what way?
Height adjustable with a 5' ceiling isnt really adjustable, youll see.
If you mean with a batwing type reflector in your case that's a bad idea IMO. You'll need sealed reflectors to keep the heat down.

This is bang on and will give you problems. They're not gonna stop you but the less problems you have with your setup the easier it is to maintain a better environment

If I have to flower soon that will be fine by me I will only be in this location one more year. During veg the Light should be about 2-3ft away from top right?
