How many plants in a 2m x 2m x 2m tent?

2 or is it now 4 x 600 watt lights for 6 auto flowers? I can't imagine 6 auto flower strains will need 2 lamps let alone 4 lamps. Do auto flower strains get that big?

I'm asking for help to do it, not for reasons why I can't... I have what I need, I won't make mistakes if I get the right info from the right people

I'm an optimist by the way ;)

I/we are sure that you can do this. Just as we encourage we also like to see people take sensible steps and have realistic expectations of their first grow. We will help you in any way possible short of growing it for you. I at least am a optimist too.

I mainly don't want to waste space, all or nothing.. It all could go wrong but I have faith in the collective experience in Rollitup.
I have plenty more questions but I'll gather them all up tomorrow for you

Thank you! :weed:

That 550 is per square meter and I doubt they meant 1 plant per meter squared. I'm not trying to be negative but rather asking a question that is relevant to your goal. Your 4 meter square tent according to the breeder's info would yield 2200 grams.

From what I'm understanding, you're going to run 6 plants (autos) in a 4 square meter (height not added) so 1.25 plants per squared meter.

What I am getting at is an auto strain, regardless of breeder's suggested yield ability, will probably not yield 366.67 grams per plant indoors. I could be wrong but I think auto flower strains would be a lot more popular if people were pulling 3/4 pound per plant.

I will probably just do 4 but just wanted advice. Most of the Auto's available dont do that much, maybe 1-2 oz maximum it's only a couple of strains what from I am reading
from the site and other discussions but i'll learn from the first grow i guess.

do you think 6 would be too much or ok?

I think you'll be straight doing 6 plants for sure. Here's a grow/smoke report from a cat that says they yielded 5 ounces off his auto anesthesia, or 140 grams. So to hit the 550 gram per square meter you would need 4 plants per square meter, bringing you plant count up to 16 instead of 6, if you go by the breeders info.

If you only run 6 plants I would suggest just using one 600 watt light. Cheers and good luck.

Imo you would be better sticking with 6 yes 6 PHOTOS they will reward you alot better than the autos will and should b easier to manage for a first grow you should stick to 6 of the same strain and use minimal amount of nutrients that way things are simpler and your chances of success r alot higher.I grew 5 long flowering blue cheese on my first grow with only grow and bloom as nuits and I was rewarded with 16 once of dynamite buds only my op but as I was always reminded of the main rule I managed to pull it off ......by the way that rule was plain and simply.............KISS.....

I have no faith in autos, but OP seems set on running some. I was simply suggesting that if OP wants to get 550 grams per square meter, he's going need more than 1 or 2 auto flowering plants in per square meter.

I've never understood why anyone would want to run auto flowerers indoors? Outdoors it makes sense if weather is bad in fall, but indoor it makes little sense. You could just flower a photoperiod plant as soon as it sexually matures in three or so weeks. But to each his own.

I kinda have to agree, I have seen some autos produce a lot better than thought and got bigger than I thought, contribute the later to genetics though. However 550g grams per sq meter is not realistic with autos. Some northern lights hybrids would be perfect for his purposes, Blue dreams can be kept manageable or sat/Indy 50/50's would be good to. Hope he's reading this!

i would run 6 if i was you. two 600w will be sweet, so long as you got a good extraction fan. also i dont know why people make it sound like weed is hard to grow, as its not. if you do a bit of gardening its a piece of piss really. the main thing is dont over feed and over water

Yea as I mentioned before the KISS strategy works perfectly for a noob then after getting a bit of experience growing under your belt try a bit of experimentation....

Thanks man! Everywhere i ask questions people just tell me how I cant do it and how seemingly no-one can do it except them...
Its like barrier to stop new growers or summit lol I'll check out your link now! Thanks

NO ONE is telling you NOT to grow wot we r advising is the simplest way to maximize yield in the easiest way......and another thing.....if you don't want to be disappointed then keep your aspersions REAL....and not a fantasy....

I wasn't referring this to this forum, I was talking in general because it's the same everywhere i go, people telling me to only grow one plant first

If you hold fast on your motto of all or nothing, enjoy nothing. You have knowledge of plants? Great, how many have you grown with HPS and MH bulbs?

Top growers hope to get a gram a watt.

Depending on strain determines your light sq.

You're next questions determine whether the convo continues.
