i'm running 2x600w lights but the temp is too high.. i will just use the one as the temp is perfect like that ..but will i have to grow fewer plants as a result...

great....lol...that narrows it down abit..

i was thinking15-20 they will fit. i could fit 25 at a push but will the light be enough? would i get the same sort of yield just using less plants?

Yup, pretty much the same yeild anyway. Your veg time will be shorter though.

I would say that with 15 plants you would veg about 2 weeks (from clones) and then flower.

With 60 plants you wouldn't veg at all.

With 6 plants you would veg about a month.

You can't grow 60 of them from seed.

You can probably start with 15 from seed and cull the weak ones and males to get down to 8-10 viable plants.

Lots of different options.

so if i had 5 plants yielding 3oz per plant would 20 plants yield 3oz per plant still........
Not under the same light.

you can get 20 clones, and "lollypop" them. That means cutting of all of the side shoots and putting them into flower RIGHT away. Each one would probably yeild about .5 oz's. Some a little more, some a little less.

In 8-9 weeks when they finish flowering you would likely get in the neighborhood of 10oz's total.

If you vegged 5 plants for about 4-5 weeks first you could expect about the same yeild. It will have just taken you an extra 4-5 weeks to make it happen. Still 8-9 weeks of flowering (indicas).

Again, these numbers are just to show you the difference and should not be used as your guidelines. First grow, expect less.

You are probably best off growing about 5-6 plants and vegging them about a month and going through the entire process.

damn.. thats a bummer.. i was hoping for 15 plants to give me 40+oz... i will have to find a way to keep the room cooler with both lights i guess...

thanks for the heads up, i'm learning everyday...

:peace:

In GOLD rule says each 1 watt is 1g weed (dry) this is ideal. in your case I would say 2x600w=1200g (42 oz) ideal, but if this first time for u i hope it would be 25 to 30 oz

its my first time but i'm doing a test run right now with just 4 plants, already made so many mistakes i know not to do next time.

so by that theory iw=ig then expecting 3oz per plant 14 plants would be about right.!

thanks for all the replies
