how many ladybugs should I release in my masterbedroom which im using for a grow room

I have a master bedroom and a bathroom that im using for my grow. about 12 plants. 6 clones. im going to buy a plastic zipper door for the outside of the door. so they cant get out. 300 are coming lmao I dont think i want 300 ladybugs in my room or in my house lol.

BTW I have spidermites I used to much safer/sufer spray and now my plants are hanging by a thread. they are coming back though the plants that is !! so are the spider mites. I do not want to treat the plants anymore with products, they are dying already !!! so I order these lady bugs.

I implore you to rethink this.. you could deal with the mites with just plain water on plants those size..

You really want 300 lady bugs in your Bedroom for those little tiny plants? Not to mention the first round of ladybugs usually have to re-propagate to be effective and can take time.. By the time those ladybugs are ready for really doing any eating, the spider mites will be many dozens of generations in themselves.

dipping them in water? How can I do so if they are in 3 gallon pots with soil?

Ladybugs can problay eat 10 mites each day or two. Depends how bad the problem is, You must release them properly. Me and a homie released at 2,500 once and they all died a hour or two later. Make sure you have a cage and feed them and give em a nice habitat to reproduce. Release them on the plant leaves, Make sure the humidity and shit is right or they will die!

I just drench the plant with spray.. if they are not in flower no worries.. if they are, few worries.. just make sure to shake them off well afterwards, hit em at a distance with a drier if needed..

Water drowns adults instantly..

If you drench them every day for a week (a pain but totally no chemicals) you should, if you experience is like mine everytime I do it, eradicate the lil suckers for good this grow... If they come back later.. get em again



OR.. some people fill the bathtub up, or an ol garbage can, and drown em for 10 minutes.. when you pull em up.. mites are gone from that plant and it's environment for good until you introduce them again.

I've seen people do this to plants that have been in flower for 6-7 weeks even..

But anyway.. a spray bottle will do pretty much the same trick.. soak em every day for about a week.. no more mites.. it's that simple..


Probably wouldn't work well at all for a commercial grow or a really really big plant..

But it works perfectly for low key small grows..
