how many plants do you have under those cfls? the key with cfls is to get the plants as close as possible without touching. you CAN always upgrade your watts for flowering, if you only have a plant or 2 then you should be fine with what you got. i flowered a small plant (about an oz dry weight) with just over 100 watts of cfl and they came out dense as rocks.

right now I have three...(blue berry an recon) 1 is going into flower next week.. The other lil ladies are a week in veg... Pics soon

well each plant should have at least 100 watts of cfls spread around it to maximize bud production. so i would upgrade your watts a little.

more = better as long as you can keep heat under control. ive got about 200w of lights in a 2x2 area, with one plant scrogged to fill most of the screen

well I guess it's no secret...but I prefer Mr. Dirt or The Warrior,Man,Dude,Guy,Bro...I'll tell you what working outside is a hell of alot easier when you have 900,000 acres to grow with..right now we're in 3ft of the white stuff an my 4X4 is stuck up hill..SUCKS!!!!!!! So yeah I have a little indoor thing goin on for the winter...sooo you think I need more lights for flowering?? 200+wtts is'nt good enough on 1-2 ladies??? Thanks info! pics on my grow soon, and vids coming this spring...Fresh Smoke an Happy Trails:leaf:

I tend to look at lumens total then divide by the number of plants and take into consideration how well the space is sealed and the reflectiveness of your wall coverings.
I'm in flower now. 4 plants with about 32k lumens. I'd consider that a bit low except for the rather cramped nature of my cab and the fact it is well lined with Mylar and somewhat overlapping in terms of the way I have LST'ed the plants so far.

If I said 6k min for veg and 8k min (per plant) for flower would that sound about right? I find it easier to calulate $'s per lumen this way. I end up getting 2800 lumens for $11 as my best deal locally.
