Hello everyone... I am new to the site so I should probley be posting in the newbie section but i already started writing so im going to keep going.

After planting seeds in the soil how long does it take the plant to come up? Just like the first appearance of the plant about how long should it take to poke it's head up out of the soil?

depends if you germinated them first in a damp paper towel till they popped and you saw tap roots then you planted them if thats the case then 2-3 days. if you didn't germinate them then upwards of 2 weeks of looking at bare soil . since you are new alow me to recomend you look into the grow FAQ on this forum as well as the free grow videos their great and will teach you all about germinating the seeds growing the plant and everything else you are going to need to know to have a good harvest

It could take up to a week if you just throw a seed in the soil. The way i do it is i put papertowel wet inbetween two glass plates put them in dark war place and let them sit like that for 3 days. Open after 3 days there is usually a white tail that is up to 1" long and then i plant that n soil just a tiny bit under the soila nd it pops it head up out the soil within 2 days easily. Turn your lights on so right when it pokes its head up it will get light and sprout up faster towards teh light. Good Luck

i use plain old white glass plates that match up(they are same size). Yeah it works great especially if you are patient and dont open those plates until 3 days. Last one i just planted had over an inch of white tail and the shell was already half way off. Took it under 14 hours to come through dirt.

if you use plates that light doesn't penetrate why do you put it in a dark place haha....if the plates aren't clear then the seeds are dark no matter what
