How long to keep a mother plant for?

i was wondering how many cuttings can i keep taking off a mother plant? and then what do i do with the mother plant after this stage?

Let her in Veg for around 1 year, taking cutting from her, and when the year is over, let her vedg for few weeks and make her flower for the first time of her life... She will thanks you for leaving her doing her job and KILL her after

i have known growers to keep mothers up to 5 years.

One good size plant can give hundreds of cuttings. I have a tiny ass LST'd plant and took 4 cuttings easy, and they all rooted. Could have easily taken 16-20 cuttings, just didn't need that much. But I guess it all depends on how big of cuttings you're talking. I'd say it would be pretty easy to take 16 decent sized cuttings from a 2 foot mother; could possibly get it out of an 18 incher, just depends how much growth you got.

how big will a mother be thou thats like 5 years old???? huge i imagine an i doubt my 2m grow tent wud take her!!!!!! i cud try LST but she mite be too thick to bend?????
