how long to go??

strain is a blueberry cross,can't remember exactly what it's crossed with,think it's either big bud or big bush,something like that
and yeah it's going slow,but what's worse is having to go out and buy 2nd rate weed when i've got quality bud in the wardrobe,smells harder to handle than anything else
as for going with trichromes,i have a marvellous microscope with a good range of magnification,trouble is i find cloudy and even amber trichs after just 4 weeks of flowering so find this to be mis-guiding
and whoever asked about the magnifying glass,a jewellers loupe is better,if you don't get enough magnification from it hold it over your cameralens,get close to the plant and zoom in,that's how i took the trich pics at the start of this post

I have heard this before that there are many different attributes that one might follow in clearly identifying the time to harvest.....seems to me that you have to adjust your approach to your own situation and specific circumstances. I like fdd's way and he says you just know when trhey're ready...you will feel it.....and of course he has had a lot of experience which is certainly to his advantage. but like with so much of this hobby, you take all the info and come up with something that works for you and your circumstacnes....good luck...they look awesome!
