how long to flush my nute burn? 3 days?

Hey all, havnt been on in a while..

Im growing about 9 plants in a 4x4 tray, hydro ebb n flow with hydroton round pellets...

i originally had the 9 plants in the tray with just hydroton in the pots they were in... but then roots started to come out so i filled the whole 4x4 with hydroton.. and ever since i did that they dont take in the nutes the same way.

im guessing with the ebb n flow, that once the tray fills that all of the hydroton soak up the nutes and its an overload for the plants.

another problem is a couple of the plants are actually thriving with that method, and a few are not.. so it will be hard to find a happy medium.

anyways, i didnt want to take a picture myself cuz im paranoid but heres a link to a picture of nute burn that is nearly identical to quite a bit of the leaves on a few of my plants:

how long should i flush and run just water (pH'd correctly) through the ebb n flow system i have? about 3 days? or is that too long? hmmmm.

well im 4 weeks into flowering and have about 5 weeks left.

also, another question i forgot to ask.. my plants are all about 4 ft tall and decently bushy... is it right to be filling the tray about 8 times throughout a 24 hour time period for 15 minutes each time? is that about the right amount of water? or way too little or too much?

okay, and also how much during the lights on period?

try 4 floods since you where doing 8 for a 24 hour period. adjust accordingly and good luck with your grow.
