How long should I flower for?

I am just beginning week 6 of flowering and I'm not to sure what I need to look for to harvest. Just recently I have noticed my plants start to shrink it seems like. Does this mean that they are done and it is time to harvest? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks! :leaf:

you need pics.
but you should harvest when most of the hairs turn a golden brown
and when the trichomes caps turn to a milky or amber color.

6 weeks sounds too short id do some research on what i told you
and add some pics.

Look at one of the stickys. It should tell you. 6 weeks is way too early unless it's an autoflower or some ruderalis strain. Anywhere from 8-10 weeks til harvest for most strains. It all depends. The trichomes tell everything!

I would continue, be patient. Wait till at least 70% of the hairs are brown. That will be the easiest way to tell, with out making a mistake and sacrificing density. The last two weeks of flower are the most important, and when they put on a lot of mass.

any idea why it seemed to be blowing up in size and then stopped growing?? I agree week 6 seems too early. The plant is in a 8 in square pot and its around two and a half months old. does it need to be transplanted???
