How long for regen to full veg

These are 18 days in airpots from 4 inch clone, they took 21 days to root and were cut from mother's 2 weeks into flower.

How long before they back into full veg mode and lose the funky leaf structure, they haven't been tipped at all just regen, I,m in no hurry will be growing them into trees.

around 2 months there going to be back to normal growth you might still get some funky growth still so it is really up to your plants. I've noticed that the longer they take to root the longer they veg weird for but that's just from my runs.

Anywhere from 4-8 weeks. I've got a few that I did basically the same thing although I was 3 week in I think. They are right at 6 weeks from cut and I'm getting more regular vegetative growth.

I had just this happen to me. It felt like forever for the to bounce back. They are finally growing but has a bunch of single leaves. It stunted them hard.

If you want to slow them down take the clone later in flower.
3" pots for reference.

These are 67 day including the ones on the left.
I'll not need them for months so if waited until the 5th wk 12-12

I'm curious, will taking a clone late in flower still give you the exact same clone genetics as taking a clone from a vegging mom? It seems like all the stress from going back and forth has to do some damage to the plant. I know it grows out of it but is any of the DNA damaged going forward with the future clones? I'm new to cloning and don't quite get the science side of how they react to stuff like that. Any ideas??

Idk the science either but I do know from experience there's no problem with dna/genetics whatever you have a exact copy.

This is called “Monstercropping” for the uninitiated. Usually resulting in hundreds of shoots that require judicious pruning. If left on it’s own I’ve l seen 2 pounds of popcorn and few buds worth showing anyone on one. It’s more trouble than it’s worth in my experiences. There’s way too many seeds to be screwing with reveg.

Clones and mother ftw...
Each seed is a £6\10 gamble for me I wouldn't not revege a good pheno to clone it's not what I'd describe as trouble or hassle it's just another plant to look after with known traits.

I was thinking in terms of long term genetic drift like if you kept doing it the way you keep cloning plants for generations from mother plants. Pre 98 bubba kush has been around for almost 25 years with what I've been told is the exact same genetics. I'm just wondering if by stressing them out by taking flowering cuts, especially in late flower if the genetics would be more inclined to drift over time. Not a real serious issue, just a stoney wondering. Thanks for your reply.

There’s cuts here of stuff that’s been around for years and it’s still just as good in every way as it originally was. Just finished a Blackwater from a cutting from a guy who stocked the first retail grow to open here in 2016 with the same strain. 300 plants for them from clones. This stuff kicks ass. It will put you to sleep. So I think if there’s degradation in a long kept strain it’s probably on the keeper. And the possibility of weak genetics to start with.

That I get, but do you think taking them late in flower like these guys are doing would change anything? Does the reveg stress somehow fuck anything up in the DNA? Or am I just really high?

I don't think it will change anything just add a bunch of time to it, I remember way back some guys that never killed there out door plant just harvest and let it sit and they would go again next season, I was forced to do this as I had a heat matt fault that cooked my cuttings so I had to take them again of flowering plants, its interesting seeing how it affects different strains I have 4 strains in my bunch.

Any one know if one was to take cuttings again before the plant has normal leaf growth will it affect the cutting, mine have been under 18 hours for 21 days to root and 18 days growing, would like to take cuttings in another 2 weeks.

Here they are looking back into full veg, lots of tops, they did a lot in 2wks from last pics.

Was having trouble with the airpots drying out to quick I should never have added perlite to the coco in these pots, so I sat the airport in a fabric pot with pure coco, was able to keep my netting to keep fungus gnats out so all good will be flipping them soon.
