How long does dolomite provide Cal/Mag

Just wondering if anyone knows how long dolomite lime will supply calcium and magnesium to a plant that is about 2 months old.

I used 2 tsp per gallon of soil.
You're golden for the entire grow. I've had host plants in the same pot for 9 months or so with no issues from pH or cal/mag.

The ONLY time I needed to add more was with container tomatoes after 3 months+ of growth. They really suck up the Ca and mag too.

I've never used Dolomite lime before but just for my understanding - if i'm using R/O water I still don't need to add any cal/mag the entire grow if the soil is amended with dolomite lime ?

So it would seem, but IDK to be honest. No experience with RO water.
