Ive been growing a few plants conventionally, killed two have one left, and I think its a damn male. After all this waiting ITS A GODDAMN MALE!
I don't want to wait months and months and months to start over so I'm looking to grow a few smaller plants on 12/12 from seed and wanted to know if that would cut down my time?

SLIGHTLY..

Even when growing 12/12 from seed the plant will veg until its mature enough to start flowering.
I grew a DNA ROCKLOCK 12/12 from seed and at week 3 the nodes began to alternate then at week 4 pistils appeared.

Personally i wouldnt bother doing it again and would always opt for 3weeks of 18/6 .

Lately i have been giving plants 10+ weeks of veg with lots of LST and always allow 10weeks of 12/12 to fully ripen my so called 8week strains.

If you want a quick grow I'd advice auto strains the grow by time not by light cycle they usual take about 2 months from sprout to harvest my first grow was autos there pretty easy man good luck

*EDIT* just leave them on 24/0 from start to finish all good

I'm not going to buy more seeds,I WANT MY WIDOW. Plus there yield is to low,Id have to grow like 3 to get close to the normal yield of one.

Just take cuttings and place them in a cup of water with a few drops of veg nutes... then 12/12 the cuttings for 7-10 days

if they show female pre-flowers, it's a girl...

I'm already pretty sure its male ,its got balls I think I'm going to give it a little more time to be sure but my question was not about sex but about time.

unfortunately nothing we as growers can really do to make it quicker other than to provide a near perfect environment and feeding schedule .

Clones would be a quicker turn around as you could give them less veg time SOG style, however it means investing more time growing a mother 6-10weeks of veg , then cloning 2weeks rooting time, then maybe 1weeks veg of those clones so you're already a minimum of 9weeks in before you're ready for 12/12 .

But once you're at this point you just take a few more clones a few weeks before your flowering plants finish and put them in as you're harvesting others.
