How Long Do You Think It Would Take A Helicopter To Scan For Heat?

basically looking at the police helicopter time schedule and i noticed they had a "Pre-planned task" in my area (say around 5-10 thousand properties) and moved on to the next town along within 5mins, then off to another after 15mins of being there, its done it twice now in 2months, always the same elusive "Pre-planned task". I remember when it was so i know it aint bullshit, all those times i was paronoid and they were hunting down some unlucky sod!!! my question is, do you think it would take longer than 10mins to scan an area of about 1sq mile, 1.5km if my math is right, full of houses, tower flats and other properties? id say it was pretty rapid myself

they fly over and have instant heat signatures and if they have their electronic "nose" working they can pick up on the smells in the air and pinpoint to where it came from.

just kidding on the nose part.

always a joker in the pack!!!!!! hahahahahahahahahahaha i literally jumped out of my seat and rolled around crying real tears in awe of of that well constructed joke, keep up the good work man!!!!!

^ Hes posted on a bunch of recent threads ive been reading and literally hasnt said one positive/constructive thing yet...just goes around critisizing everyone from what ive seen so far.

but honestly, the helicopters will probly detect anything pretty quickly whether its heat signatures, or seeing plants (outdoors), they are trained for it...

depends. in the day time when the sun is out they cant detect anything. if your in a duplex or complex or more than 1 story and everything is on the first floor. they cant detect anything on the first floor. other than that, they can detect in seconds. there is a helicopter designed for finding plants. there are only 3 in existence. one is in hawaii, one is in humboldt county, the other is in japan. there might be 2 in existence now.

no. probable cause. they have the right to look from the outside or even go through your garbage, they need a warrant to go in the house or in your yard.. if they show a warrant. make sure it has a state seal, judges signature and description of reasoning for warrant. cops will use fake warrants to gain entry. police illegally went into my parents house . arrested my dad on something he never did. they came to the door in plain clothes. said they hit my car. when i walked out they rushed the house. i asked for a warrant. all the gave me was a xeroxed copy of my dads description.. first off no warrant and they were out of their jurisdiction. when we fought they kissed our ass tough and apologized. i wanted to sue but my mom wanted to be done with it.

they can say anything is probable cause just as long as they use that term no matter how loosely its used. then you lawyer up and get off.

They need a warrant to get your location off IP... Other than that they can get about 1/2mile proximity tracking your ip to a router

In the U.S. they cannot FLIR your home UNLESS they have a Warrant PERIOD! They can go through your trash ONLY if its on a public right a way. Besides unless you have multiple 1000's you have nothing to fear with FLIR, hell a hair blow dryer puts off roughly the same heat as a 400w and a dishwasher a 600w and a clothes dryer 1000w.... Dont tell anyone, dont show anyone, DONT THROW ANYTHING OUT IN HOUSEHOLD TRASH, and overall dont get lazy and relaxed. If it is illegal where you are it pays to be a little jumpy.....

The Choppers use a sort of camera so yes, it's instantaneous. I my area I have seen an increase in Patrols (specific flight pattern/ time) they seem to begin around this time of year.
My grow is 215/ sb420 compliant .....even if I get busted I have all my legal docs and will be fine, but the 5-0 here has a habit of killing plants and stealing/ destroying equipment..... so I'd rather not tip them off.
I use heavy duty blackout panels in my windows and plan to insulate my box best I can.

stay paranoid!
