how long after topping my plant can i flower it?

ok sorry no pics cos i broke my fone/camera a couple of days ago,
i think i was ready to flower but a friend persuaded me to top my plant,

how long should i wait for it to reveg before putting it into 12/12?

im not in a massive rush so if its better to wait then i would rather wait,,

You can flower any time. You can even top after flowering starts. It'll still grow bud.

leave it to grow a while , now you have topped it you got rid of the main cola, replased it with two new ones , your effectivley starting again, you know how on a non topped main cola on a good size plant (3wk veg), u get the main top of the bud bud, then 4 more fat buds that look like they are all one bud, then those fat two buds on the internode down, and another fat few on the other internodes. if u flower straight away u dont have as many internodes on the main colas when the flowers starts at about week 2 or 3 of 12 12, therefore less fat nugs. i grow with 300w cfl's, i veg for 2-3 weeks, then top them , then wait another 1 and a half or two weeks. this is perfect for an indica dominant plant like the afghan hash plants and afghan kush's ive done. the two new tops, from the internode they start from, end up a couple inches long, i find this is best for keeping cannopy evenish with just one 'topping' and lets the main colas get fattttttt. however on more sativa plants, like durban poison i grew, i suggest topping them and flowering them straight away after topping ( 2 days after) . keeps the sativa stretch down. hope it helped
