How late can I take clones? (pics)

I have successfully taken clones from plants that were 5 weeks into flowering, so 18 days isn't a problem. might take a bit longer to come around, they re-veg weird at first.

You can also harvest the plant when it's ready but leave a couple branches on the bottom rather than chopping the whole thing down and then reveg it to get more clones from it. (In case cloning fails this time around, which it really shouldn't at all unless you're new to cloning and do somehting really wrong.)

I am new to cloning and have never done it before.
Should be fine-like others have replied it will grow wierd while it goes into re-veg. Some of mine grew these wierd "helicopter" leaves that grow single blades in a spiral pattern-looks nothing like a pot leaf.

I had never done it before until about 6 months ago, now I do it frequently. Use clean SHARP tools, invest in some rooting compound and take small cuttings from low down on the plant when you are starting out! I use a dome to keep the humidity up, but I don't think you have to. Usually rooted in 10-14 days.
