First plant ever. How does she look? Advice? I'm new so excuse my ignorance in advance!!!

Those holes in the leaves may be caused by an early budworm. Spray Bt ASAP to avoid a disaster. Read the thread at the top of Outdoor Gardening for a ton of details.

I'm paranoid about bugs and haven't seen any and have been spraying with natria insecticidal soap.

Could it be the Texas heat? No idea the variety...think it's from Colorado. It was a seed in my little baggy. Her name is BaBy Jane. Lol
