k i knocked out all my dresser drawers and made a grow room in there. i have 6 18 watt 2700k's going and 3 6500k 23 watts running in there. i got a 120mm intake fan and 2 80 mm exhaust fans running. how is it still 80+ deg in there/!?!?

unless u have that ghetto grow box sealed, the fans aren't gonna do shit. just like a computer tower, u need to have a bit of a vacuum for the fans to do any work. u make sure to have the exhaust at the top and intake at the bottom? ya know, the whole warm air rises deal?

well, i guess the other option would be to decrease your numbers of lights.....u have 9 now, right? that might be a little much unless you are growing in the closet from Chronicles of Narnia. lol. is it just your basic 5foot tall dresser? these are CFL's u are using, right?

4'X3'? so its like, what, 18" deep or so? allowing 6" for the lightbulbs and mounts, and 8" for the pots, you have a maximum height potential of 34" for each plant? 9 bulbs seems a little excessive for such a small grow area.... methinks u might be getting a little too cramped in there. how many plants do u have?

Serapis brings up a good point too about ambient temp. that small area wont get any cooler than the surrounding room. you might be better off knocking a side panel out of that thing and sticking a cheapo GALAXY box fan right up to it to suck the hot air out.....unless you are going for a complete stealth op.

dont have a thermometer but for sure ik its way more then 80

More than 80 ambient temp? well, that is your answer right there. the fans WILL NOT BY ANY MEANS cool the air going through them, so unless you have a small AC unit, your interior temp will remain at, if not higher, than the main room's ambient temp

My thoughts exactly. You need to have air flow in and out of the room that your grow cab is in. Otherwise you are still just recirculating the same hot stale air.
