how i like to re-pot

here's how i like to re-pot.

i'm limited on space so i started in a small pot. i'm ready for my final 6" pots.


so i add a little soil to the bottom. then i set the small pot inside the larger one at the height i want the sprout. i backfill packing the soil firmly around the smaller pot.


then i simply remove the smaller pot, leaving a hole the exact size i need.


i place the sprout between my fingers and turn the pot over and tap the bottom. it drops into my hand and i drop it in the hole. then i add soil to the bottom of the first set of leaves.
all done.

this is how i do it, except with grow bags i will cut the bottom seam off before setting in the hole, then i can remove the bag slowly and not even have to turn shit over.

A couple of good and low stress ideas.

i didnt elaborate though, mine should be 100% stress free, with a grow bag, you see, i bury it after i cut the seam, and isntead of taking it out and having a hole already made, i leave it there, and slowly pull the grow bag out that seperates it from the new soil.

As long as no roots have grown out to the side of the bag it would be low stress. If they have then..... VV
