How I know God is real

OP, the little voice was real. You are real. The voice was in you. You are your SELF, if you can make it so.

There is no Other. And if you were not indoctrinated before you could talk about Other, you could see that.

No Other Supreme Being, in your story, just you.
So you're saying it must have been the lil voice in my head that let the cat into the house without my conscience self knowing........

now there is the imagination someone was looking for earlier, lol

No. I'm saying in that situation you have no idea how the cat got in.

And to call it a Miracle? You are the only Miracle.

read it.....lol
"I immediately convinced myself that it was a figment of my imagination, I gave myself the cold chills by thinking that there was a God. "

So again, you obviously didn't read what I actually wrote

Again, all this shit is new to me, miracle, could be too strong of a word, but it did to seem to answer my direct question posed to God, so wouldn't that be classified as a miracle, no matter how small of a miracle it is??

We are much more powerful in this world that we know.

I can see myself bending time and space slightly, sometimes.

If you take scripture and take out Other, it is all there.

"seek and you will find" SELF.

You posed it to yourself and let yourself see the answer in the cat.
But the physical fact of the cat getting into the house and actually coming around me when for a whole year before this night he always ran from me......

So that is how I know there is a God. I don't know much about religions, and I don't know a lot about God, but I do know that there is a supernatural being who comes to us in our weakest hour, and he works miraculous works in mysterious ways.
God bless all of you who believes in his miracles.[/QUOTE]

probably Satan...it is a cat after all......

He got in. You have better vibes now. Cats don't have long memories like dogs. They just like good vibes.

I think the cat thing is just part of the revelation. There was a change of attitude in the home. A kind of peace came over it's members. As evidenced by the boys behavior and the relationship between the OP and his spouse. That's what God does.

I'll agree to disagree with you, no hard feelings.

I even pulled the dryer out to make sure he didn't crawl up through the outside vent, lol

He didn't just, "get in"

I don't have the answers, I just know the facts, which asks too many questions, to the answers I dont have, but it leaves me believing in something more than our feeble human brains can comprehend

I tell you something.

If I saw a tree uproot and fly off into the clear blue sky, I would say nothing.

I would remark to myself, this is totally predicted in Quantum Physics.
I would say this is totally predicted the Illusion will shed with Meditation practice.

There could be a big hole there and passers by could say, there never was a tree, just the hole.

I would remark to myself, this is totally predicted in Quantum Many Worlds Theory.

Oh, there are Miracles all right. The entire thing, This World, our complete sensorium intake is a Miracle of human perception.

In the Quantum math, it only exists as the Probability waves we collapse our SELVES.

Einstein lost that debate (formal math debate) to the Quantum guys, Schrodinger and Heisenberg in 1921.

Look it up. The Copenhagen Conjecture.

I believe that whole heartedly now, and I believe the cat was God's revelation to me, to let me know there is something more out there

I don't believe in god. It's an absurd notion to me along the lines of Santa Claus. The reality is that I don't really know, nor do you or anyone else. In your case though, I'd run with it. It seems to be having a positive effect on you and your family, so rock on.

For the record, I read your first post (sans paragraphs) and I thought it was well done. Good on ya

This begs the question .....

If god can take time out of his (what I assume to be) busy schedule to enlighten you with a cat, then why does he procrastinate with all of the suffering and atrocities on the planet?

I've always maintained that even if god were real, I'm not sure that I would want to belong to his club. He seems like a cruel prick.

Thank you, and I guess like my father put it, even if there is no God on the other side, I will know that I lived a good life from here to there.
