How I hooked up PWM singals to ACInfinity Cloudline T6 and Hyperfan 8" from an Open source Software

I thought I would share this info for the RUI comunity. For literally a couple of dollars I am able to control both T6 and Hyperfan Gen 1 8" independently. This is easily done by "intercepting" the PWM signal to the fans. Check the pictures to see how stupid simple this is.

For the hyper fan, I removed the cable adapter from the remote casing (no permanent modifications) and un-soldered the rheostat. The two wires are now connected with the PWM controller on the screw in negative terminals, the PWM controller is now controlled by hooking up the signal wire and ground wire to the Raspberry Pi which sends the control signal. The cable connection adapter is zipped tied for a more professional appearance. See pics

The setup in the AC Infinity T6 ( should work for the T4 and T8) is the same. Hijack the PWM signal and control it with the Pi. No permanent modifications done, see pictures.

Setup in MyCodo is simple (other automation software is simple too), its a couple of options including which Pin the PWM controller is on and you're off to the races.

Part - extreme over kill but it is easy to use.

hey man, is it a new one or na old one? the old one has a DC motor and the new one has a EC motor.. i am trying to do the same with the new one and control it with an esp32 and home assistant but the official forum says it is not possible to control the EC version with pwm.. this guy has my same setup but with the DC version and works like a CHARM..

Nice build! You have to check those cheap ass "Songle" relays daily on the relay board, they are very prone to breaking. I've had to replace all mine to Omron relays in just a couple of months.

I fucking hate them! Cheers!

it is not my build, it is from led gardener but i am building the same system and today with your picture of the t6 cable box i managed to control two of them with a IRLZ44NPBF mosfet and a 10k resistor like he has done in his build

I ordered one of the cloudline T6's based on this and when it arrived found the wiring much different. Mine appears to be the new EC system. Oops.
I was able to make it work with some fiddling around. Pictures and wiring diagram are at

Someone else had mentioned just hooking up the PWM wired directly to the PI however this only worked partially for me, it only got about 1/3 speed.

I suspect you'd need to amplify it since the T6 is 10v and the Pi sends 5 or 6. You can do this with an opamp

got a question how can I control more. I have multiple tents and AC Infinity cloudline 2 t6 and 5 t4 how can I control say even 4 of them this is what I have to work with I googled 4 or 5 different hookups yours, ledge, stud, and Cple other. I have all the MOSFETs 5 to 36v all the esp32s. Pwm to volt and volt to pwm,, 100k resistor,,,pc817,, adruino mega 256 plus with the extra pwmbI just ordered and booster to boost to 10v for the 2 t6 and also ordered a 4 channel easing edge l ac dimmer,,, 8 opto 22 relays breakout board kit,,sonoffth16 relay,,, dht22,,,bme280,,, ird520 MOSFETs,,,, 3 raps berry pi 4s,, 2 orange pi primes,,,2 atomic pis,,, and bunch different other adruinos,,, 7 inch touch screen for berry pi ,,,fire hd 10,,, and my desktop ,,, I'm running home assistant. Maybe nodered. I'm running. Lg 10kbtu Portable ac and voronado heater both prolly pull each 1200 and I am running 4 Bestva 2000 watt elite reflectors to 1600 watts.. and my grow light I'm working on with peltier pads that synergy they power the cooling fan. So heat from my light powers my peltier pads. Anyone can help me I'm mounting it in. Cple of those. Fancy stash logic boxes and one of my old pistols gin cases the cargo ones wanna mount everything in them and try to keep it mobile so I can close case up if I have to. Someone help plz

Jesusgrowsmygrass - or anyone who has a hyperfan with the round connection speed connector - I don't suppose you could tell me which pin goes to which wire could you? I wanna hook one up to PWM and don't have the speed connector to slice.

Any advice would be gratefully received!
