How Fast Is Fast ??

Check out this baby bloomer!

It's an AutoMaria II from Paradise, only a few weeks from sprouting, on her 4th leaf set and real flowers are already starting to form on the top and below.

I have her in an air pot with Lambert organic pro potting soil with Dynamite slow release mixed in(I'll be water curing this one).

Anyone ever seen a faster flowering plant?

Autos are that fast, and almost any plant is where I am if I start them outdoors. Nice plant!

i would not water cure it....water curing will lose an extra 12-15 % of weight as opposed to air dry and jar cure...i mean that plant is going to finish quick..looks like one of those 60 day strains ..bean to bud...so maybe 13-15 grams when finished ... so losing an extra 2-3 grams with water cure will not be worth it.

Water curing is where you soak your buds under distilled water for a few days, changing the water every day. You do this right after chopping and before hanging them up to dry. This allows you to feed the plant right up to the end for better yield or because you can't flush for some reason(slow-release nutes).

This method works by osmosis, the same mechanism that plants use to move their fluids around. Since THC and the other good chems are not water soluble and chlorophyll and starches and other yucky stuff IS, the result is a very smooth smoking bud with slightly less flavor but all the potency.

The downside, besides slightly less flavor and smell, is buds that are a kind of greyish-brown color lol. No prob if it's your personal stash or whatever.

Here's another pic of my early bird baby...

I hear ya...

I'm not expecting much from this strain anyway, which is why I'm just potting them up with slow release fertilizer and letting them work their magic lol.
