how far can my light be? (air cooled w/ glass)

depends on the air temp outside, I keep mine about a foot from the tops, you can tell when they are to close as the top bud turns yellow. To be sure put your hand, palm down so you touch the top of the bud hold your hand there and see if it get to hot or not hot at all. Trust me if it's to close the back of your hand will tell you real quick so if your hand gets hot move the light up and try again or go the other way if it is not even warm to get it spot on.
