how far away should i keep my CFL bulbs?

:wall:ok i have 3 (13) watt CFL lightbulbs (getting ready to upgrade to 20's or 42's if i have a 20 watt how far away should i keep the light? my 13 watts are 9 inches and 11 inches away. (i think they are too far away but my plants still seem to like it i dont want them to burn) how fat should i keep a 42 watt bulb away? can somone list the watts and how far away for each bulb :wall:
 
9 inches?!?!?! you nuts.....the plants will strech like ivy or somefin!!!!!!!!!!! you should keep them 2" far @ most man!!!
 
well theres also sunlight in the room and this plant is 72 days old but i do have a seedling
 
13 watt you can go close 1 to 2 inches...when you upgrade go to about 2.5 to 3 if ya got good air flow..

ok, im going to move the lights closer, i have a box fan thats about a foot high running, i just wanted to be sure
 
72 days and not into flower yet?? Why not I clone and veg for 2.5 months and flower for 6 weeks(like it 60/40) ....

Give that bad boy some more light. I just got done cutting down a Indica..18 inches tall and produced 1.25 oz of good sweet smoke...Got 2 hybrid clones in flower as we speak got 1 week left of those then have 2 more behind that(2.5 weeks left)...


Cheetah have to disagree with ur SIG....I just use bagseed and get awesome weed....HAHAHAHA Peace man

No the buds got big as hell and smelt fruity.....It will grow but not like Sativa...BRB let me get some pics

You guys wanna know how that plant turned out last year? 30 inches tall, 5 inch buds on the sidesand they were about 2 inches fat only lasted me 2-3 weeks though, plus i smoked the leaves for like a week. on a REALY REALY shitty set up, 14 buds on it. now i have 2 seedling in a good grow room in my closet:bigjoint:
