5 weeks will be plenty of veg time....some ppl actually do 12/12 from seed....i personally like to give them at least amonth to veg
Your plants will either double or triple in height once you start the flowering stage. So it's a matter of how big do you want your plants to be. I've put plants with only two weeks vegetation ( from seed) into the flowering stage and had nice plants about 12" to 18" tall, very bushy and very potent. I grow my plants in styrofoam coolers, so I really don't want plants over 24".

id say sative indica cross is best but not having tried all strains i couldnt give you a proper answer...........check my thread below, lots of pics , info, best strains to use, lots of folks ready to answer questions....

shortest ive had was 12 inch and tallest 32 inch, i just tie the top over to stop upward growth if they get to tall.....
I DID THIS, i was not best impressed... i must have got some real quick flowering strain but it ended up being 6 inches tall with 1 bud on it...
would clones be a suitable idea to help with the space issue? this is a vague retorical suggestion rather than a question.
how much did that 6 incher yield? when you dried it
