I'd say 4-5 weeks is about the earliest you'd ever want to flower and quality depends on strain and factors such as keeping balls away from your girls.

If you were to get a sativa it is possible to go 12/12 from seed, you could still get a decent end result.
I personally wouldnt because you lose growth time from it but it all depends on what you want to achieve.

Fastest way to do it is going to be sog. Grow mothers out until they show sex in veg, take loads of clones and veg the clones for a week, then flower them, you can have them pretty close together and get more in for the space. You may only get a half oz to an oz but it will be top quality bud and if you have them correctly spaced you will get a good amount too.

while were on the subject i built my growbox from floor to top of it its 3 ft, thats just the box not including the 6 inch tall pot im growing in and the light overhaning and what not, i was gonna just grow 1 plant iwth a 100 wat 6500k for veg and 2 120 3000k cfls for flowering just for 1 plant i thought it be good and enough, but if i wanted how many plants could i do under this lightning setup, im probably gonna grow them till there 6 inchs tall then flower

I may be just a Dumb ass but I have generally allowed 2 months of veg before I switch to 12/12. I am in no great hurry. I went 10 years with no smoke at all. Now that I have the place to do it- my thinking is you need to have a foundation before you start getting something good. I am thinking it takes 4 months from end to end using seeds. My current grow- described above in the thread- 4 on the floor, was started from seed only and they are doing fabulous! I gave them 2 months in veg before I switched to 12/12 and the tallest was 22". In the 3 weeks after that, they have stretched to 42 inches! This is the infamous post veg stretch. I hope that they do not stretch any more. My grow space will not allow a whole lot of further stretch! It's all about the Closet!! Shhh!!!! Don't tell anyone!
