How Does On Turn Off Friends in Profile

I find it confusing to me, that every time a friend makes a post I receive a copy that clutters my screen of my posts, although very unsocial, how does one prevent that ...only by having no friends ....so be it ...so where do I click NO FRIENDS please ...?

my profile top right hand corner
scroll down till you see your friends click the pencil

than youll get to the second screen unclick the box and click save changes

On your profile, in your Activity Stream, you can select which posts show. There are tabs for All, Yours, Friends, or Subscribed Threads.

Just select the tab you want to see.
