I am in the build phase of my legal grow room. While the rooms are going up a question popped into my head.

What is the recommended way to move a scrog grow from the veg room to the flower room? In all the photos I've seen, The screen is shared by several plants so you would have to move the all at once?

Apologies if this is a newbtastic question.

Thanks in advance!

well you could move them all at once, be sure while your building you account for this method and can fit through any doors and muild a bottom to support the containers during the move...

or....

you could take them out of the screen carefully and move them then put them back in (this would be a no other option method imho)

My thought would be not to move them, just flipp that whole room to 12/12
but that would negate me building 2 rooms!

Pay, this is the route I'm gonna go... Casters, platform for the containers, screen raised off the container platform mounted at all 4 corners.

thanks Matt

I've decided to sog instead of scrog. Gonna make some holes in the top of my containers and tie down off the holes using pipe cleaners.

This is what I do.
I Veg my girls for a month or more and then move them to my flower tent where the SCROG is located.
Slip them under the SCROG and arrange the branches. Then I would run my Flower tent under 18/6 Veg for another week or two, this way the girls can fill in 75% of the Screen before flipping to 12/12.
Keep adjusting the girls as they stretch.
Either take your clones before you flower or during flowering before they stop stretching, taking my clones from the bottom of the plants. Throw those clone into the Veg tent. So, when the SCROG is done. The new Vegged girls will be ready to go.
SCROG's do take a bit more time and effort. But, the result are great.:-?

Good Luck

Grow a few before you decide to custom a room for a style. A few of these replies are from people who clearly have no exp in the matter...

1st you scrog the first of flower, veg scrog sounds pretty silly, since you should just be topping the plant to get more tops at that point.
2nd you can't move a screened plant without damaging it, or without stress to you/ your plant. Just trust me, and keep it simple.
3rd the guy that said keep it I the one room and that solves your problem was bang on. Look into a flip box and your mind=blown. The plants will thank you for not being moved a lot too just keep tons of air flow

You could alsonscrong them in the bloom room.

Grow it branchy and after you transfer it to your bloom room lay out your first screen and position plants branches accordingly and over the next few weeks add another layer or two.

Honestly I’m in the exact same position and looking for ideas and tips.

I’m thinking I’m also going to move full tables. But I’m wondering if I should do 4x4s or 4x8

Each book. Room will hold 75 plants.

All of this is in a licensed legal grow facility.

I've seen the individual screens for each plant has 4 stakes that go into the pot and then has a screen up top that's held by the stakes

If I were you just work with the space you have and change the light to the lights you weee originally going to flower with. Then next time don’t ScrOG until they are in the flower room

This is how its done ^^^

should you follow throw with this much dated method of growing

have 2 scrog(SOG) chambers

this method was popular in places were there was a strict limit to the amount of plants grown indoors

cheers.
