How Do You Keep A Grow Tent Cool?

I'm a new {to indoor} growing and have a major cooling problem{I live in Las Vegas lol} with my grow tent. I have a 4X6X7 grow tent with 2 600 watt cool tube lights all properly vented. I can get an AC unit but would like to use CO2 so How do I cool room down without losing gas? Frustrated in Sin City.

If you are using an AC that just recirculates the air in the tent...that would solve your problem. Like the normal window units have an option to bring fresh air in...or just recirculate the air already in the house.

If you run co2 your temp can be much higher, like 90-95@1500ppm co2, actually need to be that high to take full advantage of the co2.
Hi I agree with the recent studies that plants metaboliZe co2 quicker at higher temp but Woah! 90-95 maybe in case by case basis but some plants over transpire at those temps and 40% humidity holds tons more water at those temps .the grow bible by Greg green says 95 is ok but in my experience 95 is too hot. No matter what the law of diminishing returns says I think 85 is tops and Too high temp lead to tons of problems compounding themselves quickly. I have run 90 temps and did not notice any better growth patterns only more stress now I run 78-82 and 1200 ppm 45-55% humidity and it rages!! I say get a a/c unit and co2 and a chhc-4 when u can afford it an dial that tent in window unit would be ok for now but look into ducted systems

have a sealed room. have the intake from your cooltube from air outside your tent.
have the exhaust from your cooltube go outside the tent.

i thought the sealed room is obvious he said it was all properly vented . but i just dawned on me your running your lights at night right?? cuz in vegas that makes a hugh diffrence a/c window units need a little bit colder air than 99* to be efficient. putting your co 2 on a timer although wasteful could help alot . the concept is simple but alot of co2 is lost. for summer in vegas a insulated air conditioned unit with a full time moniter you can hook up to your cpu (i use the chhp-4) i can moniter my a/c use the on/ off of everything track temp there are nicer and crappy models that will do the same thing so shop around and do your homework tons of peeps here use lots of tricks to keeep temps down in vegas
