How do you go about flipping from veg to flower?

Thanks SO much for the run through man!! Going to save this for when I'm ready to start researching more! Plant looks killer! That are some donkeys for sure. What the deal with the heat output and light distance between the two. I enjoy heavy training so I'll have an even canopy. Just curious about the heat and how much distance is needed?

Also... what with that dude and the strand of profanity? This his first time on the internet lol?
Hey no problem and good question on distance from canopy because there is quite a difference between the two techs. With CMH anything I ran that was any closer than 18"-20" above canopy I'd get very noticeable light bleaching. The hoods are typically 14-16", then 20" to the canopy, your minimum overhead is in the 34-36" range if using a hood. COBs have a benefit here, I typically run them 14-16" above canopy, but the fixtures are like 3" high, so my total overhead for the COBs is only in the range of 17"-19". In a room with limited height that can make a world of difference giving the COBs an edge.

Heat is very manageable with both techs, watt-for-watt I dropped 2-3F running the COBs. The difference imo was just that the ballasts generate more heat than the LED drivers. CMH because of its efficiency doesn't need as many watts if comparing it to hps, so if you were running watt-for-watt against hps your temps would be the same, but you'd be able to cover off up to 25% more space. If you were replacing hps in the same space you can replace ~400w of hps with one of the 315's to get the same yields or more ime.
