How do you cut diamond mylar straight?

This might be a stupid question, but what method do you use to cut (diamond-shaped) mylar perfectly straight without veering off at an angle etc?

I use a lightsaber but you can use a nice straight edge and a razor.

Try a drywall square. Hard to screw that up.
